Energy Efficient Controls Ltd are delighted to announce that they have now been awarded SAFEcontractor Accreditation.


EEC recognise the importance of Health & Safety in the work place and their policy reflects this as detailed below

Our policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our employees, and to provide such information, training and supervision as they need for this purpose.  We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities.

The allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular arrangements which we will make to implement the policy are set out below.

The policy will be kept up to date, particularly as the business changes in nature and size.  To ensure this, the policy and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed every year.

It is the Company policy to ensure and recognise that the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees, whether on the Company's premises or carrying out Company business elsewhere is the Management's responsibility, and that a duty of care extends to other persons whilst they are on Company premises.

Health and Safety is a paramount to the Company, all and every resource needed shall be put in place to protect the employees of the Company and other people who may be affected by our activities.
Finance budget is set and made available by the Company annually for the sole means of Health and safety training.

EEC considered several Health & Safety groups before choosing SAFEcontractor as their preferred option,

EEC Wins Great Ormond Street Hospital Project
EEC one of the leading controls company’s have been appointed by NG Bailey, the UK’s largest building services provider to supply a fully integrated controls system that affords the closest most accurate control of the building to enhance the hospitals green credentials.

The project worth in excess of £1,000,000 to EEC will see them provide the BMS controls and manufacture of all motor control centres and the integration of numerous systems to ensure full control of environmental conditions of the building whilst closely controlling energy use.

The new building at Great Ormond Street Hospital known as the Morgan Stanley Clinical Building will house new kidney, neurosciences and heart and lung centres.

With state of the art operating theatres that will allow Great Ormond Street Hospital to treat 20% more children.



Colin Gravenor director of Energy Efficient Controls Ltd stated that “this is a very significant project for us and one of the largest health sector projects we have undertaken, we are very proud to be involved on this project with NG Bailey.

EEC have already started work on the project in January 2010 which is due for completion in November 2011.

EEC Complete Move to New Offices and Factory Facility
EEC has successfully completed the move to their new office facilities in line with their strategic plan for growth. The new offices are distributed across two floors of open plan office space, with additional meeting rooms.

The factory facility boasts 500m sq of floor space given over to the manufacture of control panels from single wardrobe type to form4 multi cubicle type.



As EEC continues steady growth the move to bigger premises forms part of their future plans to grow the business in line with the market place and their clients’ expectations.
